SHIKOYA AGRI Ltd. proposes you its 100% Arabica Green Coffee beans (unroasted) from the Aranga Amcos cooperative, located in the village of Nkoaranga in Tanzania, 2021-2022 season. Due to their unique location on the southern flank of Meru Mount, the farmers who make up this cooperative can take advantage of the region's volcanic soil while following an organic culture with a unique ecosystem making their production particularly remarkable.

Guideon Pallangyo, one of the leading farmers of this cooperative, has created an area of approximately 2 hectares, a unique ecosystem for himself and his family. This, due to the mixtures of different biodynamic crops, but especially thanks to his impressive knowledge of the different symbioses in his plantation. To give an example, he relies on the help of ants (safari-hunters) to control the coffee berry borer, to eat the young larvae of this agricultural parasite.

The Aranga Amcos cooperative is composed of farmers known throughout the country for their particularly ecological farming methods. On the southern side of Meru Mount, they grow their certified organic Arabica plants between 1,100m and 1,500m altitude for an optimal climate. The high hill side location and the influence of the specific soil conditions of the region give the coffee its unique aroma. Shikoya is also committed to fair and sustainable trade by participating in a better remuneration of the coffee farmers in Nkoaranga village. Aranga coffee impresses with its silky, balanced mouthfeel and aromas of vanilla and cassis.
